The beginning.
A heightened ambition.
Growing up, I have always known that I would have an impact on my community through the skills that I have been blessed with. I have always been determined to succeed in whatever I commit time to.
After exploring my interests in sports, cooking, tech, etc. I discovered that what I enjoyed most was music. I was always fascinated by it and I was curious about how instrumentals were made. The summer leading up to my freshman year of high school, I researched artists and what they used to create beats. I was thrilled to finally know some of the ways it could be done, but honestly overwhelmed by the choices and prices of most equipment. I didn’t know where to start.
the evolution continues.
During freshman year, I met my friend Shawn. I saw him messing with a program in class that he said he uses to make music. I was stunned. I did not think there was free software to make music. I asked him what the program was called. He said, “Mixcraft”. I installed Mixcraft on my school laptop and everyday I would go home to make beats.
From Mixcraft to Fruity Loops to Logic Pro to Pro Tools, I worked and learned more about the craft. I have grown from making beats in the floor of my mom’s place to helping artists finish their mixtapes in my home studio. I aim to keep evolving as an artist and I want to help others get their ideas heard. If you are reading this, you are now witnessing my evolution. Thank you for seeing me.
